Assistant Manager - Commercial (Data Analyst)

Main Duties:             

·         Responsible for regular management of internal and external data

·         Create and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau and Power BI)

·         Perform data analysis to support decision making for the commercial function (e.g. customer relationships, competitor analysis)

·         Develop solutions for streamlining and automating data management / analytics / reporting tasks

·         Support in business analysis related duties

·         Assist in ad-hoc office administrative duties

 

Requirements: 

·      University undergraduate degree in Data Science or a related discipline

·      Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the shipping and logistics industry

·      Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or similar

·      Solid understanding of database concepts and data manipulation techniques

·      Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms

·      Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization

·      Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively

·      Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (spoken and written)
