Assistant Safety & Security Officer

Main Duties:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational activities are carried out in accordance with required safety standard

  • Assist superior and business units to conduct risk assessments and recommend necessary precautionary measures

  • Conduct accident investigations, compile investigation reports and recommend appropriate improvement actions

  • Prepare regular accident statistics, summaries and reports

  • Deliver safety training course and assist in organizing safety related promotions and campaigns

  • Assist to supervise security contractors and ensure they perform their duties in accordance with the Company’s standard and requirements

  • Liaise with government departments and internal parties on safety and security related issues

  • Take up ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior 

 

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above with 2 years’ relevant working experiences, preferably in container terminal industry

  • Possessing valid driving licence is an advantage

  • Knowledge in ISO45001:2018 & ISPS is preferrable

  • Shift duties and outdoor work are required

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

  • Candidate with registered qualification will be considered as Safety & Security Officer
