Main Duties

• Provide hands-on Linux system administration
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN gateways, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and web application firewalls
• Perform operating system and network device hardening based on industry standards and best practices
• Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance audits to meet regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing protocols, switching, VLANs, quality of service, and load balancing
• Monitor system and network performance, logs, and resource utilization; proactively optimize for high availability and performance
• Plan and execute IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects
• Provide 7×24 standby technical support

Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Must have hand-on experience in Linux system administration
• Good knowledge of firewall and security products
• Good Knowledge of shell script
• Experience in cybersecurity hardening practices for major operating system platforms
• Experience in Oracle databases is a plus
• Solid experience in IT projects and daily IT operation support
• Self-initiative, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills and critical thinking capabilities
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Able to work independently and under pressure, and willing to work during non-office hours when required
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Systems Programmer
