To implement safety management system through all Safety and Health Committees to effectively manage safety and health risks;
To provide adequate and appropriate resources for implementing this policy;
To seek continual improvement in our safety and health performance taking into account of evolving customer expectations, management practices, scientific knowledge and technology;
To ensure that all equipment and systems are adequately designed and maintained for safe working conditions;
To eliminate hazards and reduce safety and health risks;
To comply with all applicable laws, regulations and standards and other applicable requirements and, where adequate laws and regulations do not exist, adopt and apply standards that reflect the Company’s commitment to safety and health;
To involve and, where appropriate, consult employees, contractors and other workers, and their representatives in the improvement of the Company’s safety and health performance;
To inform our employees, contractors, other workers and visitors of their responsibilities as laid out by this policy and to ensure these responsibilities are understood by all;
To provide relevant safety training to individual employees and hold them accountable for managing safety and health in their area of responsibility, taking care of themselves and others during work and following safety rules;;
To conduct periodic reviews and safety and health audits on all operations and activities of the Company to assure compliance with this policy;
To implement occupational safety and health objectives for measuring and monitoring the safety and health performance of the Company; and
To ensure the effectiveness of this policy by conducting a biennial review through our Safety and Health Steering Committee.
