45 contestants from 9 sponsoring corporations, namely Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, Chun Wo Construction & Engineering Co., Ltd., The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd., Airport Authority Hong Kong, The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd., CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, MTR Corporation, the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, and HIT, showed off their knowledge as well as quick responses on stage. After rounds of exciting competitions the winning teams were named.

In the Cup Competition, The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd was awarded the Champion, while MTR Corporation, Chun Wo Construction & Engineering Co., Ltd. and The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited were named 1st, 2nd and 3rd Runners-uprespectively.

In the Plate Competition, Airport Authority Hong Kong received the Champion Award, while HIT, Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited were given the Achievement Awards.

The Inter-company Safety Quiz is an annual event which aims to raise occupational safety awareness in the community. The event is a collaborative effort among the Occupational Safety and Health Council, all the sponsoring corporations and government departments.
